 HIGHLIGHT PROJECTS
•Dream Town Series Project, since 2019, China
It focuses on ecological urban design and sustainable development as a green real estate which consistent with the triple-bottom-line of sustainable development--- environmental, economic, and social aspects. The projects emphasize the integration of planning, architecture, landscape, and environment design, as well as the application of LID/GI techniques, and simulation of SWMM to evaluate the comprehensive benefit related to social, economic, and environmental considerations.
Dream Town will be a new smart way for real estate in China. It will be an economic hub that links entertainment, residential, hotel, retail, public space, and connections to the developer, government, and resident, which will be a win-win sustainable development by transforming the existing land-provided method, investment method as well. It will upgrade the city service, the city industry, and city facilities.
• Sponge City/LID/GI Series Porject, Since 2012, China
Over 10 real development projects in urbanization, under sponge city (SPC) requirements, demonstrated that the application of environmental concerns by simulation of stormwater on both quantity and quality concerns when utilizing LID techniques.
The case of Lincang Technology Innovation Park (LCTIP) covered 2.87 Hectors reduced part of drainage pipe replacing by natural rain gardens, which increasing the recharge of groundwater and infiltrated part of pollutants such as TN and heavy metal in stormwater. The analysis help developer saved 2M RMB. It helped the LCTIP, local SPC paradigm, getting land value-added, and fewer management costs in the future. All the practices developed the real estate design method from green concept-based to technique-based with data supported.
• Tiandi Series Project, Since 2009, China
Tiandi series of the project is incredibly famous for reurbanizaiton and redevelopment in China.There are eight Tiandi projects in China. The most famous one is Shagnhai New Tiandi wich preserved the original urban struture and redevelopment by mixed use stratiges.
Dalian Tiandi series of the project covered the land of 25 KM2 with 30 billion RMB demonstrated a successful application of LID techniques, LEED standard, and mixed-use land with TOD strategies. It is a paradigm green real estate development in Dalian city. It could keep the same selling price of the apartment unit downtown even the Tiandi project is located 18 KM away from the city. Tiandi series of the project is incredibly famous in China now.
• Wenchuan New City Urban Design--- Earthquak Relief Project, after “5.12” earthquake disaster, 2008, China
This project covers 10 square kilometers located at Shuimo town which is the new site for rebuild Wenchuan city after 5.12 earthquake. All designs and planning are subjected to a general idea: upon on the core of lake and green area, to create an ecological, traditional Qian_Zhang minority cultural, and new economy model city. All design works include Whole city design, it involves all single building such as middle school, hospital etc. Everything starts from land planning to construction. Especially, the No.2 middle school (35000 Square meters, 0.15Billion) has to be finished before Aug.2009 because the victim’s students will study there according to China Government’s promise.
The project is national one held by China government. Our China Urban Design Research Center of Peking University won the bid. I have been working as the group leader to manage all designers to fulfill their job duties, under Professor Chenkeshi's instructions. Meanwhile, working as liaison among in governors, local residents and designers, to discuss all kinds of issues with them are my job duties.This project was awarded as a paradigm of post-earthquake recovery by the United Nations.
• Da Chao Shan Hydropower Station's Residential Area project, National Project.
 This project covered 85 Hectares and was located in Lin Chang city, 70 kilometers from the main hydropower station. Total investment was 24 million RMB (ChineseYuan) and 24 separate projects involved in landscape, office building, residence building, house, swimming pool, tennis court, etc.
I was the principal architect and interior designer of the master plan, office building's architecture design, and liaison person with local government authorities. Besides, I was the team leader organizing 15 designers to work together from general planning to single building planning. We finished all work in two weeks' advance, and got an “Excellent Design”.
• The Traffic Policeman Training center in Kun Ming, Provincial project.
 This center was built on 20 Hectares land in Xiao Shao town close to Kun Ming city. My work was focused on general engineering with particular planning. We planned and designed a track and field, a shot field, 23 special training areas, and 7 Qing dynasty style dining houses, etc. I was in charge of organizing other designers to develop and maintain nature landscape very well to meet the designing mission “leisure, training, farming”.
